(More customer reviews)So I've been playing through this book and, wow, there are some really good exercises here. They're somewhat challenging and extremely atypical. The rhythms are tough, and the notes are very chromatic in typical Bartok style. I feel like even accomplished pianists need to tear their way through a few Mikrokosmos books; at the very least, it makes for some good sight-reading.
