(More customer reviews)My first workstation was a Roland W-30, for the time it was pretty good. Then I got a Korg Triton Pro, perfect for my needs in the late 90's on, and I still have it. I still have it, but I don't use it. After I bought the Motif XS I stopped using the Korg because it sounds so cheap next to this. I couldn't see spending another $800 for the XF7, I don't sample that much. The XS does everything that I need and more. If you're more into rap & hip hop, give the Roland fantom G a try. If you like real sounding piano's, guitars etc... then this is the one you need. Yamaha MOTIF XS7 Music Production Synthesizer
