(More customer reviews)I have a PSR-195 that had a busted adapter that was no longer available on the Yamaha website. I read that this adapter would be compatible for that older adapter, ordered it on a whim, and was happy to find that not only did it work perfectly--it also was smaller than the older plug and used up less energy. :3 Can't beat that. Still, I reinforced the head of the plug with duct tape to reduce any chances of stripping--which was the reason I had to throw out the last adapter. I'm glad I bought this--it saved me from losing my trusted keyboard!

(More customer reviews)Does exactly what the description says, however in the long run, it's just a very average AC power adapter that can be replaced by any 12V generic one. The cord is too short, I'd estimate around 5-6 feet, so you may have difficulty playing your piano if it isn't up against the wall. (Additionally, it will serve as a tripping hazard if your piano is positioned 3-4 feet away from the wall.)

(More customer reviews)After looking at several reviews and product informatiom of various priced keyboards, and wanting to stay in budget , we decided to purchase this one for our son for Christmas. He is 12 and a budding musician, he absolutely LOVES this keyboard. The only downfall is it did not come with it's own AC adapter, which may be common but would have been nice to know to have on hand Christmas morning (it takes a lot of batteries). Other than that it shipped super fast, great packing, good prduct, we are very pleased!

Casio SA-76 44 Key Mini Keyboard, Orange Review

(More customer reviews)This keyboard fits into my slightly larger backpack. Its portability allows me to carry it around and work out melodic and harmonic ideas for the songs I write when I'm away from home. The eight-note polyphony is really helpful for chording.
A problematic issue exists with the Casio SA-75 power adaptor that is advertised as an optional accessory on the Amazon page that features the keyboard. The adaptor isn't compatible because the jack-end doesn't fit into the 9.5 volt terminal on the back of the keyboard. The manual claims the six batteries required to operate the keyboard will last for about six hours, though.
I contacted the seller of the SA-75 adaptor and they told me that the correct adaptor for the SA-76 keyboard won't be available until December 2010.
The tones are clear and reasonably distinctive, perhaps slightly less so in the brass. The rhythm patterns cover all the basics, and there's more than enough volume control to play with. All in all, after two weeks of using it, I would say that this is a cool little keyboard!
